1 July 2025 marks a milestone we’re incredibly proud of: Formitize turns 13!
From humble beginnings to transforming the way businesses operate around the globe, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.
From Four Founders to a Worldwide Force
Thirteen years ago, Matt, Fleur, Dimitri and Phil set out to solve a deceptively simple challenge: help businesses go paperless and run more efficiently.
What started as a dream shared by four pioneers has become a powerful business management platform used by thousands of companies across more than 30 countries. The platform has undergone extensive enhancements and its functionality is now world-class.
Today, Formitize is relied upon by sole traders, large enterprises, government agencies and everyone in between, supporting them to work smarter, safer, and more profitably.
A Year of Exciting Achievements
As we celebrate our 13th birthday, we’re reflecting on some of the major milestones and new features we’ve rolled out over the past year, including:
✅ FormSketch – An exciting new functionality that allows users to mark up their photos, diagrams, floorplans etc., further proving there are no limits to the communication Formitize can facilitate.
✅ Client Portal Enhancements – The enhanced Client Portal is helping businesses deliver seamless customer experiences, giving clients 24/7 access to jobs, quotes, invoices, and documents in real time.
✅ Submitted Forms Folders Upgrade – Our updated folder system makes organizing, searching, and collaborating on submitted forms simpler and faster than ever.
✅ Offline Functionality Expansion – We improved offline capabilities so businesses can keep working wherever they are, from remote rural sites to bustling metro areas.
✅ Dynamic Lists – This new sophisticated feature allows users to capture every detail their client wants or needs, ensuring they (and their teams) don't miss a single thing.
✅ Scheduler Evolution – We're finalising work on the new Scheduler, a dynamic visual scheduling tool that empowers businesses to plan and adapt with unprecedented ease.
✅ Portal Enhancements – Jobs and Forms can now be completed from both the App and the Portal.
Each of these updates represents our commitment to continuous innovation and listening to our community.
